AI Art Director Traineeship

About the role

We're looking for a motivated trainee to develop into an AI Art Director at Bloom Studios. This role is designed for people with a strong visual foundation — in art direction, design, photography, or content creation — who want to apply those skills inside AI-driven production environments.

You'll work closely with our creative and technical teams to learn how to translate creative direction into scalable visual outputs using AI tools and structured workflows. Day to day, that means working on real client projects across fashion, lifestyle, and FMCG — not theoretical exercises.

This is a hands-on traineeship with a clear progression path into a permanent AI Art Director role for the right person.

What you'll do

• Support the development of AI-generated visual content across image and video
• Translate creative briefs into structured prompts and visual systems
• Maintain visual consistency across outputs for brand clients
• Contribute to client projects across fashion, lifestyle, and FMCG sectors
• Test and evaluate new AI tools and workflows as they emerge
• Support the development of repeatable, scalable production pipelines

What we're looking for

• Background in art direction, design, photography, or content creation
• Strong visual judgment — composition, lighting, styling, colour
• Demonstrated interest in AI tools and emerging creative technologies
• Structured and detail-oriented approach to creative work
• Proactive mindset with the ability to learn quickly
• Based in or able to commute to Amsterdam

Nice to have

• Experience with generative AI tools such as Midjourney, ComfyUI, or Runway
• Familiarity with digital production workflows
• Basic proficiency in design or editing tools like Photoshop or Figma
• Interest in fashion, e-commerce, or brand content production
